Near Death Experience (again!)

Been driving my new motor with a slight smell of petrol for a couple of weeks until I could get my mechanic friend to look at it. Turns out to have been a ruptured injector pipe that was pissing petrol out. Luckily BMW put protective pans under the body which stopped it hitting the exhaust and seeing me off in a large ball of flame.
Scary when you find out afterwards isn't it? What's even scarier is the £90 it cost me to do 170 miles! People joke about being able to watch the fuel indicator needle going down - but I really could - and quite quickly too!

Two Belly Buttons

I have recently discovered that my belly hair has grown under my operation scar as it would under the belly button, making it seem for all the world like I have two of the blighters. Nice talking point for the more boring dinner party then. Not that we ever go to dinner parties.

Yes - that is he most interesting thing that has happened to me - well that I can talk about in public anyway.
